What is involved in setting up the STARS system? 

System information for your organization is required that includes basic information on your orgainzation and centers, rate information, classes offered, GL accounts, revenue categories, payment types offered and similar items.  Once this information is entered, you may begin entering in your children and staff, enrolling and scheduling them. 

What support can I expect with the system?

CareSmart associates will provide you with initial consulting regarding the best approach to organizational setup and the most efficient ways to take advantage of the STARS flexible billing and accounts receivable systems.  While the system is very intuitive, training guides, flash videos and webinars are availabe to help you understand the system and get you up and running quickly.

Can you help with data conversion?

CareSmart will work with you to determine the best method of converting data from your current systems.  Since data structures between systems may be different, certain methods may be more efficient than others.  In addition, CareSmart has proprietary systems that may allow parents to be more involved in directly providing information. 

What if we have special needs, such as integration with other systems?

CareSmart's Professional Service Organization (PSO) is available to work with you to create special reporting, enhance applications or create automated interfaces with your organization's accounting, payroll or other systems.
